Auld Lang Syne - Mini-Class & Lead Sheet ('Action Session')

IN THIS PLAY-ALONG ACTION SESSION you learn to play "Auld Lang Syne" from a lead-sheet that's provided. 

We start the play-along session by learning a simple, distilled version for Fledgling Players. Then we expand, embellish and re-harmonize to the level of Advanced or Professional - all from the same simple lead-sheet you download.

ACTION SESSIONS always follow the same formula:

1. You learn to 'build out' the Lead-Sheet by creating a simple melody with simple accompaniment and bass

2. You then learn to create a 5-part arrangement form that lets you extend and expand the piece with simple improv techniques.

3. Fledgling players continue to play the piece in this simple, elegant way as I show more advanced players how to expand, enhance and embellish the basic elegant form.

You only go as far as you can and then you take what you learned and play it for your friends, family, audiences – because, regardless of your technical ability. 

You WILL be playing YOUR arrangement at YOUR level of ability by the end of this Action Session – and your friends, audience, clients, patients — will LOVE it!!!
